Symptoms of Marfan Syndrome
Marfan syndrome can affect many parts of the body. The signs and symptoms may vary from person to person. There are physical traits found in Marfan syndrome such as a tall thin build, long arms, legs, fingers and toes. Flexible joints, scoliosis of the spine, a chest that sinks in, teeth that are too crowded, flat feet and poor vision are also physical traits of Marfans. The risk for serious health problems involving the cardiovascular system are mitral valve prolapse, arrhythmia, aortic regurgitation and aortic dilation and dissection.
